I wouldn't say that my thought process was to vote for just anybody, it was more to vote for someone I actually believed would represent our country in a positive way. Instead of pissing everyone off, and making the U.S. appear like the worlds dictator with a god-like superiority complex.

I'm sick of this whole, punch him in the face and ask questions later crap. Iraq did not attack us, it was the Al Qaeda. Osama Bin Laden is the head of Al Qaeda. Why are we focusing all of our energy on Iraq, and not Osama?

My vote for Bush had nothing to do with his religious beliefs, I tend to shut him (and Kerry) out when they talk about these issues.

I DID mean to say Kerry was the wrong guy at the right time. Using your thought process you would have voted for anyone but settled for Kerry because he was the idiot the Democrats put forth. I kind of liked Lieberman who probably would have won.

However the fallacy in the whole moral debate is that you righties seem to think you have a monopoly on God. Sadly it is exactly the opposite. You allow ingrates like Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell extol the virtues of conservatism and how wonderful the Republican party is. Even you should know the difference between righteousness and self-rightousness and realize that all of these "Christians" possess far to little of the former, and far too much of the latter. Its disgusting to see the way the right wing has pimped religion in order to seduce the poor into voting against their own self interest. Now on to your next point. It may surprise you to learn that I consider myself a centrist. Shocked huh? I could really care less that Kerry was the liberal and Bush the conservative. Bush is incompetent.
