A Singaporean man broke the world record for stuffing the most hamburgers into his mouth at one time as part of a competition to break 10 obscure Guinness world records.
Don Ezra Nicholas, 19, packed in three "and a bit" McDonald's hamburgers, or 369 grams of burger, into his mouth without swallowing, The Straits Times said.
His effort on Sunday took him past the feat of American Johnny Reitz, who previously held the record by stuffing 340 grams of hamburger into his mouth.
"I'm the burger king," Nicholas, a soldier, declared after his world record, adding his achievement did not come easily.
"I couldn't see or hear anything. I couldn't breathe for a while. At one point I almost gagged."
On Saturday, Jeffery Koh, 50, the oldest participant in the 10-team contest, broke the world record for eating three cream crackers in the fastest time.
He polished off the crackers in 14.45 seconds, beating the previous record of 49.15 seconds held by Briton Ambrose Mendy in 2002.

Some of the failed record attempts included downing a 397 gram bottle of ketchup with a straw in the fastest time, eating the most number of Smarties with a pair of chopsticks in three minutes and speaking the most number of words backwards in one minute.
Ten pairs were competing in the competition, with the team with the highest combined score winning 10,000 Singapore dollars ($8000).
3 1/5 Mcdonalds hamburgers in mout at one time. No spitting or swallowing until the end. Can Butts do it?

HAMBURGER STUFFING
The following act as a guide to the specific considerations
and undertakings, in addition to the general requirements,
for any potential attempt on the greatest number of
hamburgers that an individual can stuff into his/her mouth.
They should be read and understood by all concerned
? organisers, participants and witnesses ? prior to the event.
RULES
1. The burgers to be used should be commercially available, regular hamburgers obtained from a major burger chain. Details of the burger, size, weight, etc. should be submitted with the record claim.
2. Each burger should consist of a hamburger, buns and condiments.
3. The burgers should be placed into the mouth whole.
4. The burgers should neither be chewed nor swallowed and must be removed from the mouth whole after the attempt to confirm that nothing has been swallowed.
5. The challenger must close his/her mouth to signify the end of the attempt.
6. No person under the age of 14 may compete in this challenge. Person?s aged between 14 and 18 must, before competition, be in possession of a document signed by their parent or legal guardian, giving them permission to compete. This document must be added to the documentation supporting the record claim.
7. Safety is a major issue and the competitor must sign a disclaimer prior to the attempt.
8. The attempt should take place in a public place with public access throughout.
9. There is no time limit to the challenge.
10. A qualified professional medical team must be in attendance throughout the attempt.
11. In addition, a plentiful supply of drinking water should be at hand for the competitor to use as he/she wishes.
